Maranatha Women Challenged to re-order Priorities
Elder Grace Langley made a passionate plea to the women to take their responsibility to equip their children for heaven as their top priority. She was speaking at the special International Women’s Day Service held at the Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist church.
In a heartfelt sermon Sis Langley recounted her days of child rearing and the joy she had of seeing her children continuing steadfast in the faith. She spoke of the misguided way of most parents today in trying to secure temporal success over the well-being of their children.
The program ended with a call to commitment with all the women gathering at the altar and the men encircling them. Pastor Wilton McDonald Sr. then offerred a special prayer. The meeting was co-ordinated by Sis Theresa Powell, Womens’ Ministry Director, Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Church.
